Esta fecha recuerda la creaci\u00f3n del ministerio como una entidad independiente, el 1 de agosto de 1930, marcando un hito en la institucionalidad agr\u00edcola de Chile.<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>La instauraci\u00f3n de esta efem\u00e9ride no solo tiene un valor hist\u00f3rico, sino que tambi\u00e9n busca visibilizar y poner en valor el trabajo del Ministerio y de todos los organismos vinculados al desarrollo rural y productivo del pa\u00eds. El decreto establece que durante esta jornada, la Subsecretar\u00eda de Agricultura, las Seremis, y los diversos servicios relacionados deben organizar actividades que destaquen las pol\u00edticas, programas y acciones sectoriales, tanto a nivel regional como nacional.<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>Desde su fundaci\u00f3n, el Ministerio de Agricultura ha cumplido un rol fundamental en el desarrollo del campo, el fomento a la producci\u00f3n sustentable, la investigaci\u00f3n agropecuaria, la seguridad alimentaria y el apoyo a los peque\u00f1os y medianos productores.
